Dear Friends and Clients,
Normally I write an article about the real estate market or just something interesting that’s going on in my life, but this week I needed to write something a little different.
Although the real estate market is moving forward and our team is still selling homes, this Spring real estate market has been moving way too slow and we simply do not have enough clients to help with their home sale or new home purchase. I’m asking a HUGE favor from you, our friends. If you know anyone that might be thinking about selling their home or purchasing a new one, would you please consider telling them about us? We would be so appreciative of this and promise to take very good care of your friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors.
Our real estate team has eight team members and we cover the entire Kansas City area, from DeSoto, Olathe, and Spring Hill KS to Kearney, Excelsior Springs, and Smithville MO, and everywhere in between. We even cover the areas of Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Grain Valley all the way over to Bonner Springs, Leavenworth, and Weston as well homes and condos in the downtown area of Kansas City. There is literally nowhere in this city that we haven’t sold a home (1,300 total over the last 18 years) and we’d love to help you and your friends with their real estate needs.
Having said all that, I’m not sure most people understand this is a fantastic real estate market we are in today. OK, yes, interest rates are still higher than what we’ve been used to in the past 12 years, but Kansas City is still one of the most affordable real estate markets in the country and now you don’t have to get into those ridiculous bidding wars as we have during the last three years. Many sellers are even willing to consider a contingent offer on their home and wait for you to get your current home under contract. Please call us about this so we can explain it in detail. There is absolutely no pressure to do anything. We simply want to discuss your options.
New construction is also available again in many parts of the city and we can help you with building a brand new home or purchasing one that’s already been started. The 2023 Spring Parade of Homes sponsored by the Home Builders of Kansas City will run from April 29th through May 14th. Homes will be open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and admission is free. Go to https://kchba.org/kc-parade-of-homes/spring/ for more information and to see a list of homes on the Spring tour or call us to get advice about what to look for. We’re more than happy to help you narrow down a couple of new home communities, advise you on lots, help you choose the right builder, and even put together the purchase contract as your representative agent.
Our real estate team specializes in helping “move up” families, but we also help sellers relocating to another city, first time home buyers, people that want to downsize (we prefer to call it “right size”), investors wanting to get started buying an investment home or sell off their investment portfolio to cash out. Many times we’re just helping the average family that wants to sell and buy a different home or maybe a different location within the city to acquire a new lifestyle or a more spacious home with newly updated amenities. Whatever your need, we’re here to help!
If you or someone you know needs our services, please do not hesitate to call us. We’d simply like to sit down and talk with you and see if we can work together to accomplish your goal.
